The picnic tables are made of planed Douglas fir wood beams, which are 4.5 cm thick and 9.5 cm wide. Douglas fir wood has a long service life and is a strong type of wood. Therefore, the picnic tables do not need to be treated and can remain outside in the winter. If you want to preserve the beautiful orangey colour for longer, you can treat the picnic tables with a clear Douglas oil. Or you can choose to give it a pretty colour.
