Complaints procedure and Warranty
We, Bankentafel2in1.nl, make it our top priority to ensure customer satisfaction. Despite this, it might happen that you are not entirely pleased and wish to file a complaint. Please do not hesitate to let us know, we will do our utmost best to find an appropriate solution for you.
You can file your complaint via e-mail, info@bankentafel2in1.nl, please include photos of the issue that occurred.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail to inform you we received your complaint and within a maximum of 10 business days we will provide you with a fitting solution. If more time is needed to find a solution, you will be informed about this within those 10 business days.
If you do not agree with the offered solution, you may indicate this in writing within 6 weeks.
Please provide the following information in your letter:
- your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, customer number and your signature.
- a description of your complaint and why you do not agree with the offered solution.
You can send this letter to: Bankentafel2in1, attn. Dhr. C.B. Witvliet, Scholeksterstraat 34, 2941 PB, Lekkerkerk, the Netherlands.
Within 2 weeks, but no later than 6 weeks, you will be offered a new solution.
In the unlikely event that you do not agree with this new solution, it is possible to apply for help and mediation via WebwinkelKeur.
Since February 15th 2016, it is also possible for customers in the EU to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. You can find the ODR platform on http://ec.europa.eu/odr . As long as your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you may file your complaint via the platform of the European Union.
Naturally we try our very best to make sure it doesn’t come to that.
Warranty.
Of course, we do all we can to make sure our products reach you in perfect condition. Still, it sometimes can happen that an order gets damaged during transit or something else happens for which you are entitled to claim the warranty.
Please report any received damaged products within 24 hours including a photo of the original packaging and the damaged product. You can do this via e-mail, info@bankentafel2in1.nl. If the defect is covered by the warranty, we will ensure repairs or replacement free of charge.
What is covered by warranty?
We provide a 1 year warranty on manufacturing and construction faults. For a quick handling of your request, please notify us as soon as possible.
Naturally we will repair or replace any products that get damaged during transit. We ask you to check the product as soon as you receive it and inform us as soon as possible, preferably with a photo of the damage. We and our courier will of course do the best we can to prevent this from happening
What is not covered by warranty?
- The working of wood. Wood is a natural product, due to the working of wood it is possible for hairline cracks to form and resin to appear. We can not cover this with warranty. Tip! If resin appears from the wood, wait for it to harden and then carefully sand the resin down with a light sandpaper. Do not rub over the fresh resin in an attempt to remove it, this will spread out the resin, making it more difficult to remove. If you accidently got some resin on your clothes, HG has a very good cleaning product to remove the resin. Make sure to test the product on a bit of fabric that is not visible.
- Do you have any doubts if the hairline cracks that appear are part of the normal working of wood, feel free to contact us or send us a photo. This way we can determine whether it is a construction error or the natural working of wood.
- Broken armrest, because the bench and table is moved by lifting it at the armrest. During delivery we show you how to lift and move the bench and table without getting your fingers stuck or breaking the armrest.
